Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known for being the protagonist of Birdman. Michael Keaton is a performer who has a variety of capabilities. Through his professional career, he has played a number of romantic roles as well as was a part of action-thrillers. The actor began his interest in performing and acting when it was his teenage years and attempted stand-up comics as a young man. This was not a very successful stand-up career, however it helped pave the way for an acting career. To be successful as a comic, he found work as a cameraman at an local cable TV station. While working at the station, it was that he realised that it was his dream to be behind the camera. Then he was able to get a TV role, and appeared in several episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor had natural talent and became very popular on television. His comedic characters brought him fame and a successful film career. His career was further enhanced when he portrayed Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor with time, and took on the production and direction worlds. As a result of his performance in Birdman (2014), he received numerous awards and nominations.
